Job Description
About the Role
For an innovative, research-driven pharmaceutical company, TSP, a Syneos Health company, is seeking a Medical Science Liaison Dermatology in a permanent direct-hire position. This role is ideal for professionals looking to connect scientific expertise with medical practice to make a real impact.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust scientific partnerships as a regional MSL.
- Plan interactions and personal visits including documentation and administrative support.
- Monitor market trends and analyze regional network structures for strategic insights.
- Identify and engage qualified external experts and build medical networks.
- Conduct and moderate indication-based lectures and scientific training sessions.
- Organize regional expert meetings and trainings with budget responsibility.
- Support clinical study projects, including non-interventional studies and IIS.
- Participate in congresses, create reports and provide on-site scientific support.
- Discuss and evaluate preclinical and clinical project proposals.
- Identify local healthcare gaps and propose measures in collaboration with experts.
- Plan and deliver training for field teams in coordination with relevant departments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Training, and Medical Affairs.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, or natural sciences (PhD preferred).
- Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally as an MSL.
- Dermatology experience is an advantage.
- Experience with clinical studies, NIS or IIS is beneficial.
- Excellent presentation skills and strategic thinking ability.
- High level of autonomy, proactivity, and prioritization skills.
- Strong social competence and confident communication.
- Rapid self-study in new indications and topics.
- Project management experience and team collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and political contexts.
- Basic knowledge in biometric statistics and strong MS Office skills.
- Fluent in English for international communication.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
