The Role
As a QA Cyber Content Engineer, you will validate and ensure high quality for our cyber security training content, labs, modules, learning paths, and networks aimed at both aspiring and experienced security practitioners.
Responsibilities
- Plan, test, and write reports for cyber security training labs.
- Review iterative content development plans.
- Analyse industry trends and incorporate quality improvements.
- Collaborate with content developers on lab quality.
- Support and interact with the community on content releases.
Requirements
- Technical understanding of networking, computing, and cyber security.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Subject-matter expertise in at least two areas: Web applications, Networking and protocols, Linux, Windows, Offensive/Defensive pentest tooling.
- Ability to test vulnerable virtual machines and verify written content.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with test plan execution and technical report writing in cyber security content.
- Experience with the TryHackMe content platform and virtual lab challenges.
- Understanding of iterative content development testing in a virtualised environment.

- Stage 1: Short introduction call (30 mins).
- Stage 2: Technical Take Home Exercise.
- Stage 3: Interview with our Head of QA Content Engineering (1 hour).
- Stage 4: Final call with a Co-Founder (30 mins).
