Trustwell Living, LLC is seeking a dedicated Clinical Specialist (RN) to provide expert oversight, mentorship, and continuity of care across our communities. This role serves as a critical clinical bridge and mentor, ensuring compliance and clinical soundness during leadership transitions. You will join a team committed to exceptional care and outstanding resident experiences.
Key Responsibilities
As the boots-on-the-ground clinical expert and temporary leader during transitions, you will:
- Step into the clinical leadership role during vacancies.
- Conduct resident assessments and update service plans.
- Address resident and family concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Oversee medication management programs and ensure best practices.
- Monitor care delivery and confirm ADL/Task Sheet implementation.
- Support, train, and coach the care team for compliance and confidence.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with state and federal assisted living regulations.
- Assist in onboarding and supporting incoming clinical leaders.
- Participate in audits and deliver training sessions.
Travel Requirements
This position requires significant travel, primarily throughout the Midwest, with the ability to travel nationally as needed.
Qualifications
- Unencumbered RN license (compact license or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory nursing experience (assisted living or long-term care preferred).
- Assisted living experience is required.
- Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Electronic Medication Administration Records (EMAR).
- Professional image in appearance and behavior.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel to assigned communities as needed.
