Your Role as Software Engineer Application Platform

You will build secure, scalable foundations focusing on identity, authentication, and core system design. You will work with a collaborative team to design, implement, and maintain features ensuring system integrity and long-term maintainability.

• Design and implement features with minimal disruption.
• Debug and resolve complex platform issues.
• Maintain testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Work with cloud-based infrastructures and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate across teams and document technical decisions clearly.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum of 3 years of software development experience in core platform technologies such as Node.js, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Experience in distributed systems, cloud architecture, authentication fundamentals (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SSO), microservices/API design, relational database management, comprehensive testing, and clear documentation is essential. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience is required.

Location

This role is based in our Vancouver office. It is an on-site role with flexibility to accommodate non-traditional work hours.
