Overview

TruckPro is seeking an Account Manager Outside Sales Aftermarket Truck Parts who is responsible for promoting and selling heavy-duty truck and trailer parts to customers in a designated territory.

Responsibilities

  • Increase sales to existing and new customers in an assigned territory
  • Grow strategic local accounts
  • Develop and execute sales plans and goals
  • Enhance selling skills and technical/product knowledge
  • Build lasting client relationships
  • Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
  • Travel within the designated market daily
  • Perform additional duties as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years in outside sales or account management
  • Experience with heavy-duty truck and trailer parts
  • Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce
  • Understanding of Sales Force Effectiveness principles
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Strong customer service orientation with prospecting skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This role involves extended periods of walking, standing, moderate lifting (up to 50+ lbs), and driving long distances. The candidate will be exposed to both indoor and outdoor conditions including dirt, dust, vibration, noise, and temperature variances. Approximately 95% of the time will involve travel within a defined customer base.
