Position Overview:
The Service Administrator (Service Coordinator) plays a key role in the daily operations of our service department. This position is responsible for scheduling service appointments, creating and managing repair orders (ROs), and supporting service advisors and technicians to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and confirm customer service appointments
- Create, open, and manage Repair Orders (ROs) accurately
- Coordinate service scheduling to maximize shop efficiency
- Assist service advisors and technicians with day-to-day administrative support
- Communicate with customers regarding appointments, service updates, and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation
- Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in person
- Support overall service department operations in a fast-paced dealership environment
Qualifications:
- Previous Administrative, Scheduling, Or Customer Service Experience Required
- Automotive dealership or service department experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and dealership software
