Role Summary

The Business Analyst - FME is a key member of Trisura’s Business Application Management Office and product team. This hybrid role involves business analysis, application configuration, testing, UAT coordination, and deployment activities, primarily focused on the FME application.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop expert-level knowledge on the FME application
  • Configure FME to convert broker bordereaux into standard templates
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements and process maps
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across business and IT
  • Coordinate change logs, issue logs, and resolution with vendors
  • Support production issues and communicate updates to stakeholders
  • Escalate issues timely to ensure transparency and avoid surprises

Qualifications

  • Experience in the Financial Services industry
  • Proven role in data integration, migration, or system conversion projects
  • Insurance industry background is a plus
  • University degree in Business or Technology (Master’s preferred)
  • Business Analyst certification (CCBA or CBAP) is an asset
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to present confidently at the executive level
