Solution Architect - API Implementation
Tripadvisor is seeking a talented Solution Architect to focus on Partner Enablement & Solution Design. In this role, you will collaborate with B2C platforms, OTAs, and travel e-commerce and content partners to understand their business objectives and technical requirements. You will design end-to-end solutions leveraging Viator’s APIs to address partner needs, optimize performance, and ultimately drive the commercial success of our partners. You'll provide expert guidance on API capabilities and commercial best practices that drive conversion, and support partners in designing implementation roadmaps to help them leverage Viator's API to build products that prioritize business growth. A key part of this role involves working closely with Viator’s product, engineering, and business development teams to advocate for partner needs and feedback, driving continuous improvement of Viator’s API offerings.
Technical Leadership
You will serve as the technical point of contact for partners during the API integration process, conducting API demonstrations for partner teams. Your responsibilities will include identifying and addressing technical challenges, providing solutions to support integrations, and assisting partners in optimizing the performance of Viator’s APIs for scalability and user experience. You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, use case libraries, and integration guides.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, product management or a similar role, preferably in the travel or e-commerce industry.
- Strong understanding of APIs, RESTful services, and integration methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar) and API tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, travel technologies, and B2C integrations is a plus.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements to design scalable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making in day-to-day work.
- Proven ability to operate effectively with a global-first mindset.
