Job Description
Position Summary
The Anesthesia Tech at Trinity Health plans, coordinates and provides assistance to the Department of Anesthesia based on the patient’s age, diagnosis and physical status.
Duties
- Calibrate anesthesia machines
- Troubleshoot machine problems
- Stock anesthesia supplies
- Turn over circuit and clean machines between surgeries
- Spike lines and take specimens to the lab
- Assist in emergencies
- Set up rapid infuser and prepare cases in procedural sites
- Check expiration dates
- Run blood gases and glucose checks
- Assist with other tasks as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience
- BLS certification
