About the Role - Sr Manager, Software Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead two distinct development teams: Trimble Traqspera and HRIS Spectrum in Portland, Oregon.

Position Summary

Manage two software development teams, ensuring efficient operation, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality products. You will mentor team members, facilitate collaboration, and drive the successful delivery of our product lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage two software engineering teams, including hiring and mentoring.
• Oversee design, development, and deployment of software solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Drive strategic planning and product non-functional roadmaps.
• Manage software development lifecycles to ensure timely delivery.
• Establish best practices for secure software development and deployment.
• Facilitate communication across teams and departments.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Minimum 5+ years in software engineering roles, 3+ years in management.
• Experience managing multiple development teams and diverse technical stacks.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum and modern development methodologies.
• Familiarity with technologies such as C#, Angular, React, Azure, SQL.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
