What Makes This Role Great
In this role, you will be a key player in the launch of Trimble Access Core, directly influencing the user experience for field engineers and contractors globally. You will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge GNSS and scanning hardware while shaping a product that simplifies complex construction workflows.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for next-generation field software, focusing on high-impact, real-world applications.
- Master and validate end-to-end workflows across diverse hardware configurations, including GNSS, Optical, and Scanning equipment.
- Act as the voice of the professional user by simulating workflows for layout technicians and site supervisors to ensure a perfect product-market fit.
- Collaborate directly with Product Management and Engineering to transform technical feedback into actionable development roadmaps.
- Spearhead the creation of technical training materials and documentation to support a successful global product launch.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Background in Engineering, Geomatics, or a related technical field with a strong interest in software testing and validation.
- Familiarity with field equipment such as controllers, GNSS receivers, or optical instruments.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to systematically document and prioritize technical defects.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively translate complex field observations into clear feedback for development teams.
Bonus Points For
- Previous experience with Trimble Access or similar construction and geospatial field software.
- Knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) or construction layout workflows.
