About the Virtual Learning Assistant Role

At Unbound Academy, a revolutionary online, tuition-free charter school, your role is to keep the momentum going during dynamic virtual sessions.
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating dynamic virtual workshops by managing breakout rooms and transitions
- Boosting student motivation through chats, shout-outs, and personal engagements
- Ensuring students remain engaged, confident, and connected
- Assisting lead educators with behind-the-scenes logistics
- Building a positive culture and supporting student clubs and programs
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Delivering academic instruction or teaching subjects
- Crafting lesson plans or grading student work
- Designing curriculum or independently conducting workshops
- Taking a passive role—this position demands active participation
Basic Requirements
- Available to work from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, US Mountain Time
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or youth leadership
- Educational background in US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16)
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency with digital platforms
- Dynamic, student-centered presence with attention to detail
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Familiarity with online educational tools or youth enrichment initiatives
- Experience in after-school programs, summer camps, or club leadership roles

Unbound Academy is Arizona’s first virtual, tuition-free charter school designed to make grades 4-8 personal and exciting. Powered by AI-driven tools, core academics are mastered in just two focused hours, allowing ample time for personal development workshops.
Working with Us
This full-time, long-term position is immediately available. Compensation is $20 USD/hour, equating to $40,000 USD/year (40 hours per week, 50 weeks per year). Employment is provided through an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as the Contractor of Record.
