Join 2 Hour Learning, an innovative education company at Trilogy. As a Regulatory & Permitting Specialist, you will blend AI-assisted research with pro-active coordination to ensure that campuses open legally, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize AI tools and official resources to research licensing, permitting, and inspection requirements.
- Foster trust with city and state agencies via calls, emails, and in-person visits.
- Prepare and submit accurate filings including licenses, exemptions, and attachments.
- Maintain up-to-date dashboards and documentation for leadership insights.
- Engage in rapid learning through hands-on support and coaching, especially in the first 90 days.
What You Will Not Do
- Rely on guesswork for regulations.
- Wait passively for instructions.
- Create generic content – AI will be used for precision.
- Get mired in abstract policy discussions.
- Engage in constant travel beyond 2-3 weeks per month.
Basic Requirements
- U.S. residency with legal authorization to work; no visa sponsorship.
- Willingness to travel 50–75% across various U.S. locations.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Claude.
- Exceptional communication skills with both a phone and written presence.
- High commitment to deadlines, detail, and managing multiple timelines.
- Reliable access to a computer and internet connection.
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Experience in customer-facing, compliance, or operations roles.
- Background in public policy, communications, business, or legal studies.
- Experience solving complex logistical issues in various settings.

Working with Us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term role available immediately. The contractor position is managed via Crossover with a compensation of $50 USD/hour, equating to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours weekly over 50 weeks.
