Join Alpha School in revolutionizing reading education with a groundbreaking 2-Hour Learning model. As a Literacy Coach, you will design adaptive, AI-driven reading programs and lead interactive, tech-driven workshops.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Conduct adaptive reading workshops covering phonics, comprehension, and fluency.
  • Create personalized motivational sessions with gamified literacy milestones.
  • Evaluate student data to refine instruction.
  • Partner with the tech team to improve AI literacy tools.
  • Develop scalable content for diverse reading journeys.

  • Following a fixed curriculum that ignores student needs.
  • Spending excessive time on administrative tasks.
  • Handling overcrowded classrooms without resources.
  • Focusing on behavior management over reading instruction.
  • Working in isolation from program and product development.

Key Responsibilities

Create an adaptable, AI-driven reading program that empowers early elementary students to reach grade-level proficiency and fosters a lifelong passion for reading.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or similar).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in small-group reading interventions.
  • Expertise in assessing reading levels and designing differentiated instruction.
  • Proficiency with AI/adaptive learning tools.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Willingness to work on-site at select campuses (Tampa, FL; Austin, TX; Plano, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Spotswood, NJ; Dorado, Puerto Rico).

Working with Us

This is a full-time, long-term independent contractor position with Crossover as the Contractor of Record. Compensation is set at $50 USD/hour, equating to $100,000 USD/year based on 40 hours per week over 50 weeks.
