As a Full-Stack Engineer at TrendAI, you will design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions with an emphasis on quality and security.
Position Summary
This role involves end-to-end ownership of features on macOS, collaborating with architects and developers to build robust applications and backend services. You will focus on test strategy, automation, and quality engineering, ensuring compliance with secure coding practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop macOS applications and supporting backend services.
- Create and implement automated tests (unit, integration, system, regression).
- Collaborate on technical requirements and quality gates.
- Integrate security features and ensure compliance with secure standards.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and technical documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with solid full-stack engineering experience, especially on macOS or Linux platforms. Proficiency in C++ or Python combined with a strong understanding of design patterns, testing frameworks, and CI/CD practices is required. Experience in security engineering, cloud environments, and AI-assisted development is a plus.

Location
This hybrid role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the Ottawa, ON office at 40 Hines Rd, Ottawa, ON K2K 2M5.
