The Role of an Analyst Relations Manager

The Analyst Relations Manager will serve as a credible, responsive, and trusted partner to both industry analysts and influencers, as well as internal stakeholders. This role involves providing strategic guidance on analyst and influencer engagements to the business, consistently capturing analyst insights and feedback to inform strategy and messaging, and ensuring that evaluations are well-managed, delivered on-time, and of high quality. The Analyst Relations Manager is expected to execute analyst relations program responsibilities with discipline, consistency, and strategic intent.

Desired Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Analyst Relations (and optionally Influencer Relations) within a software or technology company.
• Candidates without direct Analyst and Influencer Relations experience must demonstrate prior experience engaging industry analysts and influencers in cybersecurity product management, product marketing, or marketing communications.
• A demonstrable understanding of Analyst Relations and Influencer Relations' role within the broader marketing and go-to-market ecosystem, particularly in messaging, positioning, and credibility-building.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior analysts, executives, product management, product marketing, and analyst relations colleagues.
• Ability to clearly and credibly explain complex technical concepts, and to collaborate effectively with product management and marketing to refine briefing materials.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and long-cycle deliverables in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A track record of consistent high performance, personal accountability, and a proactive approach to challenging self and others to achieve results.
• High personal and professional integrity.
• BA/BS in Communications, Technology, or Business (preferred).
• Familiarity with, affinity for, or aptitude for learning technology markets, with a preference for information security.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, SaaS, enterprise software, or cloud technologies.
• If not previously in an analyst relations role, a background in public relations, product management, product marketing, or competitive intelligence.
• Experience supporting executive-level analyst engagements.
• Familiarity with analyst relations metrics and impact reporting.

The salary range for this role is CAD $82,000.00 – $122,000.00, with final compensation determined by factors such as relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
