Role Overview

The Senior Security Researcher at Trellix will analyze and reverse engineer malware threats to protect our customers from evolving cyber threats. This role focuses on detailed malware analysis using static and dynamic techniques.

About the Role

  • Analyze and reverse engineer malicious objects.
  • Engage in projects to improve detection technology.
  • Enhance security content infrastructure and release process.

About You

  • 5-10 years experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering.
  • Expertise in IDA Pro, llyDbg, and x64/32 debug techniques.
  • Experience in exploits, vulnerability research, and sandbox-based detection.
  • Proficient in Python scripting and network traffic analysis.
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and YARA.

Additional Qualifications

  • Passionate and proactive in security research projects.
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in fast-paced development environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
