Role Overview

The Senior Inside Sales Representative is responsible for monitoring sales metrics and managing the sales administration process. This role involves collaboration with both internal and external professionals while supervising, training, mentoring, and coaching the Inside Sales department.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Inside Sales Manager to complete daily tasks.
  • Recommend and implement improvements in the sales administration process.
  • Foster open communication with the sales team and customers.
  • Advise the inside sales team on handling difficult customers and warranties.
  • Assist in building accurate sales forecasts for material management.
  • Support Outside Sales management and contribute to sales decisions.
  • Monitor and coach Inside Sales/CSR staff with performance reports.
  • Run daily reports for order accuracy and lead time analysis.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent; some college is preferred. Prior customer service or inside sales experience is required along with previous management experience in an office setting (preferred). Familiarity with Microsoft Software and Adobe is necessary, and knowledge of Syspro or similar ERP software is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience in the tire and wheel industry are desirable. Strong computer, data entry, communication, interpersonal, time management, problem solving, decision-making, attention to detail, analytical, and team management skills are essential. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal oversight is critical, along with the ability to quickly learn company products and terminology.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based and is not a remote role. Candidates must be able to frequently use hands, talk, and hear, occasionally stand, walk, and reach. The work environment has a moderate noise level.
