Senior DevOps Engineer at Trax

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure. You will enable development teams to deliver software efficiently while driving best practices in automation, CI/CD, cloud operations, observability, and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Helm, and others.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with developers, operations, and product teams.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident responses.
  • Mentor engineers and build a strong DevOps culture.
  • Adopt new tools and technologies for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles.
  • Strong experience with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Expertise with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Strong Linux systems, networking, and security knowledge.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and familiarity with databases and messaging systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
