Travelier, formerly known as Bookaway Group, is a travel-tech company revolutionizing ground and sea transportation for travelers. Our digital platforms enable customers to buy intercity tickets for ferries, buses, and trains, simplifying travel across the globe.
Role Overview
The Director of Finance will join our growing Finance team and drive financial excellence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with subsidiaries, ensure compliance, and lead the finance team towards success in the travel industry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with subsidiaries' financial teams and provide daily support.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Oversee accounting operations and maintain compliance with internal and external standards including US GAAP.
- Manage company equity activities, stock options, and related reporting.
- Partner with HR, Legal, and Supply teams to support business decisions.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and lead the finance team, promoting ownership and accountability.
Requirements
- 10+ years professional experience with significant leadership roles.
- Qualified CPA with Big 4 firm experience.
- Proven tech industry experience in a high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of stock-based compensation and equity management.
- Excellent cross-functional business partnering skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with NetSuite.
- Outstanding English communication skills.
