Senior Specialist Data & AI Governance

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Specialist Data & AI Governance at TRATON GROUP, you will be instrumental in enabling the responsible and value-driven use of Data & AI across TRATON SE. This includes supporting business units in shaping Data & AI demands and identifying initiatives with high business impact.

Your role will involve driving the implementation and continuous improvement of the Data & AI governance framework, translating centrally defined principles, group standards, and regulatory requirements into pragmatic, business-enabling practices.

You will support the Data & AI demand and portfolio process by structuring incoming demands, ensuring alignment with the Data & AI roadmap, and preparing prioritization decisions based on strategic value, dependencies, and feasibility. Additionally, you will facilitate the Data & AI portfolio at a coordination and alignment level, ensuring consistency across initiatives, architectural alignment, and quality standards.

Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with business functions and IT teams across the Group to foster alignment, synergies, and the reuse of Data & AI practices and solutions.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in data, AI, or digital roles within complex enterprise or Holding environments. You should possess a strong understanding of Data & AI governance, demand management, and portfolio coordination, skillfully balancing business enablement, strategic alignment, and compliance.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, with the ability to align priorities and support decision-making at both roadmap and portfolio levels. Experience working in matrix organizations and collaborating across organizational boundaries is also required. Prior experience coordinating or working with external partners (nearshore/offshore) is a plus.

Conceptual familiarity with modern data platforms such as Azure Fabric and SAP Datasphere, Governance solutions like Collibra and OneTrust, and AI Solutions including Azure AI Foundry, MS Copilot Suite, and SAP Joule is considered an advantage.
