Technical Product Manager

TransUnion is seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient Technical Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of usage reporting, billing calculation processes, and external dashboard infrastructure. This role manages the Insights & Reporting (IR) team and acts as a strategic partner to engineering leadership in defining scalable, high-quality development standards and architecture.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical product management in SaaS, data platforms, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and billing logic.
  • Proven experience in process design, QA frameworks, and automation of operational workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools (Apache Superset, Power BI, Tableau) and dashboard/report design.
  • Experience with contract configuration tools, usage-based billing systems, and audit trail development.
  • Skilled with Agile product development practices, sprint planning, and backlog grooming using JIRA.

Impact You'll Make

As a Technical Product Manager, you will lead the development and refinement of usage, revenue, and audit-based calculations for billing processes. You will collaborate with finance, product, and engineering teams to maintain data accuracy, compliance, and effective reporting. Your role also includes driving process automation and establishing QA processes, ensuring a seamless experience for both internal teams and external clients.

Work Arrangement

This position is hybrid, with a requirement to be in-person at an assigned TransUnion office at least two days per week.
