Overview

The Coding Specialist at TransPerfect is a remote freelance role based in the UK. The candidate will contribute to the evaluation of AI model responses including code, machine learning, and AI outputs.

Main Responsibilities

• Model Quality Assessment: Evaluate AI model responses for errors and inefficiencies.
• Code Annotation and Labeling: Generate, annotate, and label code snippets and technical documentation.
• Review and Feedback: Provide detailed, constructive feedback on model outputs.
• Comparative Analysis: Compare and rank outputs based on correctness, efficiency, readability, and best practices.
• Data Validation: Validate and correct datasets for high-quality data training.
• Collaboration: Work with data scientists and engineers to refine guidelines and resolve ambiguities.

Job Requirements

The role requires proficiency in Python and at least one additional programming language such as JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, C/C++, or Rust. Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Flask), machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), data science (Pandas, Matplotlib, NumPy, SQL, NoSQL), and software engineering practices such as Git is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large language models and code generation.
• Familiarity with various programming paradigms including object-oriented and functional.
• Prior experience in code review or quality assurance roles in data annotation.
