About Cloud DevOps Engineer

TransPerfect is an established company with a start-up culture seeking creative, entrepreneurial people. Join our global TechOps Team to ensure the integrity, reliability and maintenance of internally developed software products from conception to release.

Responsibilities

  • Assist development teams with infrastructure deployment and maintenance for TransPerfect SaaS applications.
  • Diagnose configuration issues related to servers, networking, and automated deployments.
  • Provision, install and configure version control systems, build tools and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Concourse.
  • Develop, provision, and test automation and orchestration for application deployments.
  • Collaborate with application teams to build and document environments via Confluence.
  • Maintain and evaluate monitoring platforms, analyzing logs to troubleshoot issues.
  • Plan data center system expansion and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation, Azure ARM templates, and Terraform.
  • Manage container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and operate on Unix, Linux and Windows systems.

About You

  • Creative and curious thinker; industrious with a proactive attitude.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience with cloud technologies, AWS and Azure.
  • Proficient in CI/CD tools, Unix Shell Scripting, and container technologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with networking and database experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology, Active Directory, SQL database management, and ELK Stack.
