About the Role
Transmit Security is a top player in its field and is anticipating an exciting year. As a Fraud Analyst, you will play an integral part in the creation of a new and innovative SaaS product. What you’ll do as a Fraud Analyst:
- Learn, maintain, and improve our fraud detection process.
- Serve as an escalation point for customer investigations and suggest optimization activities to enhance performance.
- Identify, analyze, and visualize data trends, translating them into actionable business insights.
- Manage fraud cases while acting as the main point of contact with stakeholders across the company.
- Develop and automate reports, dashboards, notebooks, and pipelines to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical needs.
- Work closely with Product and Analytic teams to support decision-making for new feature rollouts.
What you’ll need:
- 2 years of experience working in a data analysis / BI position within a high data-rich environment.
- Strong analytical and data visualization skills.
- Strong database experience and proficiency with advanced SQL & Excel.
- Familiarity with Python.
- Great communication skills, with proven ability to lead and interact effectively with multiple teams/stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent English, required to communicate daily with international teams.
- Fast learning capabilities and a proven ability to multitask, working on several projects at a time.
- Proven track record in using data tools and trends to identify opportunities and create clear actions to improve performance, demonstrating a problem-solving approach.
- BA/BS in Statistics / Operations Research / Industrial Engineering / Math / Economics or other quantitative fields preferred.
Advantages:
- Previous experience in a similar role – a major plus.
- Experience in fraud detection – a plus.
- Familiarity with Python’s Pandas package – a plus.
