Job Description
Overview
Transman Consulting is seeking a Senior Tax Compliance Specialist for its Madrid office. In this role, you will join a collaborative Tax team and be responsible for the tax compliance of client companies, focusing on a particular client sector and supervising junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance: Review, inspect, and analyze various tax declarations and prepared tax returns (both internal and external).
- Tax Filing: File tax returns, control portfolio obligations, and prepare tax compliance status reports.
- Technical Support: Provide support to Accounting and Legal departments regarding tax inquiries.
- Client Interaction: Attend meetings and conference calls with clients and tax advisors.
- Supervision: Manage and monitor the workload, quality, and performance of junior team members, onboard and train new staff, and report performance to the tax department BUM.
Profile
- Degree in Tax Law.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant tax compliance experience.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent presentation and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and team-focused with an interest in multicultural environments.
