UX Design Intern

What You’ll Do

As a UX Design Intern at Transcarent, you will work on projects that directly impact the business and contribute to our mission of improving health and care, specifically within the growth and engagement space. This role offers the opportunity to learn how to leverage a design system to design and validate new experiences through mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, and various other UX artifacts for our cloud-based applications. You will gain valuable exposure to collaborating with experienced designers, product managers, and engineers to create delightful and effortless experiences for our users, and understand how our Product, Design, and Engineering Team operates. A formal mentor will guide you throughout your 12-week internship period.

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter skilled in identifying issues and developing effective solutions. Proficiency in Figma and FigJam is essential, along with strong communication skills for presenting designs and articulating design decisions. You should also be proficient in prototyping and possess a genuine passion for healthcare, coupled with an inquisitive mind about how to improve health and care delivery. Candidates must be able to dedicate 40 hours a week for the entire 12-week duration of the program.

Program Details

• Duration: May 26 – August 14
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (role dependent); relocation assistance is not provided.
• Benefits: Internship roles are not eligible for Full-Time employee benefits.
• Work Authorization: Candidates must be independently authorized to work in the U.S. – we are unable to provide sponsorship or work authorization for this position.
