Job Description Summary
As the primary point of contact for Transamerica customers, this role provides accurate information regarding retirement, life, and annuity investment products. You will work collaboratively within a team dedicated to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Utilize exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to handle calls about retirement, life, and annuity investment products.
- Identify customer needs and provide personalized service, escalating to more knowledgeable team members when necessary.
- Locate and research information using multiple systems and technologies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to resolve customer issues.
- Document customer inquiries and actions, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding items.
- Learn and maintain a basic understanding of products, procedures, and systems.
- Achieve department metrics and expectations.
- Participate in a team-based environment to meet departmental goals.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience.
- One year of call center, customer service, or financial services industry experience.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools.
