Job Description
About Traffic Label
Traffic Label is a performance marketing and technology company operating at scale in the iGaming and digital entertainment space. We build data products and platforms that power decision-making, marketing effectiveness, and growth.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Product Owner to help build and evolve our Data Platform. This is not a “business-only” PO role - you’ll work day-to-day with data engineers and analytics teams on core platform capabilities: ingestion, transformation, modelling, governance, reliability, and data quality. You should be comfortable discussing data architecture and trade-offs with engineers, defining platform requirements, and ensuring the output is production-grade for analytics and ML consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the Data Platform roadmap with a strong focus on technical execution and measurable outcomes.
- Define requirements for ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion, transformations, and data modelling (e.g., bronze/silver/gold layers).
- Partner closely with Data Engineering on solution design, prioritisation, delivery planning, and release readiness.
- Translate complex stakeholder needs into clear user stories, technical acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- Drive platform initiatives around:
- Data quality (validation, monitoring, incident triage, root-cause analysis)
- Reliability & freshness SLAs
- Governance (lineage, documentation, access controls, definitions)
- Performance & cost optimisation (e.g., Snowflake compute/storage trade-offs)
- Track and report platform KPIs: pipeline health, coverage, data freshness, failure rates, reliability, and adoption.
Skills & Experience
- 4+ years as a Product Owner/Product Manager in a data platform / data engineering / analytics platform environment.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, ingestion patterns, ETL/ELT, and transformation principles.
- Proven experience working directly with data engineers on platform delivery (not only dashboards/reporting requests).
- Hands-on ability to work with technical artefacts:
- writing/reading SQL
- understanding data models, schemas, and typical pipeline failure modes
- working with backlogs that include technical tasks (observability, refactoring, optimisation, governance)
- Familiarity with modern cloud data ecosystems, ideally:
- AWS + Snowflake + dbt (or equivalents)
- Git-based workflows and structured delivery processes
Nice to Have
- Experience with data orchestration/observability tooling (e.g., Airflow/Dagster, data quality tooling, monitoring).
- Experience with marketing attribution / player data / iGaming domain.
- Exposure to ML/feature pipelines and analytics enablement.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary + performance bonus.
- Opportunity to build a core platform capability from the ground up.
- Remote work across Europe with flexible collaboration hours.
- Private health insurance and wellness benefits.
- A culture that values ownership, clarity, and strong delivery.

- Data Platform Ownership
- ETL/ELT Design
- Data Architecture
- SQL Proficiency
