Overview
The Regulatory Reporting Analyst role at Tradu offers growth, technical skill development, and exposure to business intelligence with a focus on regulatory reporting. The successful candidate will drive automation and process improvements while serving as the go-to person for various business requests.
Key Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Generate ad-hoc and recurring regulatory reports.
- Assess, develop, and maintain controls for data reconciliations and validations.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders for complete, timely, and accurate reporting.
- Review, refine, and document business requirements and processes.
- Drive efficiency by designing tool enhancements and automation.
- Analyze and test new data sources for integration with internal systems.
- Collaborate closely with the Data Warehouse and Data Science teams.
Requirements
Candidate should have:
- 2+ years of experience in business intelligence/data analytics.
- Strong SQL skills and some experience with Python.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and extract actionable insights.
- Effective project management skills and the ability to prioritize and collaborate.
- A self-starter attitude with minimal supervision required.
- Strong written, verbal, and documentation skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
Preferred Requirements
Additional desirable skills include:
- Experience with Microsoft Excel advanced techniques, including pivot tables.
- Some exposure to regulatory data, audits, or tax-related processes.
- Basic knowledge of statistics including regression and testing.
- Experience with Tableau and Superset for data visualization.
