Overview

The Regulatory Reporting Analyst role at Tradu offers growth, technical skill development, and exposure to business intelligence with a focus on regulatory reporting. The successful candidate will drive automation and process improvements while serving as the go-to person for various business requests.

Key Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Generate ad-hoc and recurring regulatory reports.
  • Assess, develop, and maintain controls for data reconciliations and validations.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for complete, timely, and accurate reporting.
  • Review, refine, and document business requirements and processes.
  • Drive efficiency by designing tool enhancements and automation.
  • Analyze and test new data sources for integration with internal systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the Data Warehouse and Data Science teams.

Requirements

Candidate should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in business intelligence/data analytics.
  • Strong SQL skills and some experience with Python.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and extract actionable insights.
  • Effective project management skills and the ability to prioritize and collaborate.
  • A self-starter attitude with minimal supervision required.
  • Strong written, verbal, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Preferred Requirements

Additional desirable skills include:

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel advanced techniques, including pivot tables.
  • Some exposure to regulatory data, audits, or tax-related processes.
  • Basic knowledge of statistics including regression and testing.
  • Experience with Tableau and Superset for data visualization.
