Are you ready to make yourself at home?

What We Are Looking For

We're seeking a technical Enterprise Data Product Manager to execute TradeStation's data strategy and ensure our enterprise data foundation powers decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the Sr. Director of AI, Data Science & Enterprise Data, this role will partner with data engineering, data scientists, and data analysts to deliver high-quality, governed, and accessible data products that enable analytics, AI, and business operations.

This role will require writing SQL and Python to validate data quality, prototype & build data products, and communicate effectively with both engineering teams and business stakeholders. Also, the role requires the ability to translate business needs into clear data requirements, drive adoption of data platforms, and establish the governance frameworks that ensure our data is trustworthy, discoverable, and compliant.

The technical Enterprise Data Product Manager will work across Product, Engineering, Analytics, and business functions to build self-service capabilities, modernize data pipelines, and create the data products that fuel TradeStation's growth. If you're passionate about turning messy data into strategic assets in a fast-paced financial services environment, this is your opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Data Product Ownership & Delivery
    • Own the data product lifecycle — define roadmaps, write requirements, and deliver data products, pipelines, and platforms that meet business and technical needs
    • Write production-grade SQL queries and Python scripts to validate data quality and build data solutions
    • Partner with data engineering to design and optimize data models, pipelines, and workflows in Databricks
  • Data Governance & Quality
    • Establish and manage data governance frameworks — including data classification, quality standards, lineage tracking, and access controls
    • Define and manage data quality KPIs — track completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency; drive continuous improvement initiatives
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies for data handling and security
  • Platform Enablement & Adoption
    • Drive self-service analytics adoption — build documentation, training, and support structures that enable stakeholders to access and use data effectively
    • Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and business teams to understand data needs and translate them into scalable platform capabilities
    • Evangelize data best practices and platform capabilities across the enterprise
  • Strategy & Communication
    • Contribute to data strategy and roadmap planning aligned with business priorities
    • Report measurable outcomes — communicate progress on data initiatives tied to adoption, quality improvements, and business impact
    • Stay current on data platform trends, tools, and best practices to keep TradeStation's data capabilities competitive

The Skills You Bring

  • Product Management Discipline — expert at building roadmaps, writing clear requirements and acceptance criteria, defining KPIs (adoption, ROI, latency/SLOs), and driving iterative delivery in agile environments
  • AI & Technical Fluency — understanding of LLM architectures, agentic frameworks, prompt engineering, and semantic search; able to prototype data workflows using no-code/low-code tools and translate technical constraints into product decisions
  • Experimentation & POC Evaluation — hands-on experience rapidly assessing technical/business viability of proofs-of-concept
  • Cross-Functional Leadership — ability to partner across Product, Data Science, Enterprise Data, Engineering, and Operations teams
  • Brokerage Domain Knowledge (preferred) - understanding of equities, options, futures, and brokerage workflows (back office, middle office, risk, compliance)
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake
  • Familiarity with data and AI tooling in Databricks or Snowflake preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, business, finance, or technical field
  • 5+ years in product/platform roles, including 2+ years building or operating data products or large-scale workflow automations in regulated environments

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Data Science, MBA)

What We Offer

  • Collaborative work environment
