Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will pair your digital marketing experience with skills in data collection and analytics to deliver valuable insights and evidence-driven strategy for both internal teams and clients. You will solve complex challenges that involve creative, strategic, technical, and analytical aspects.

  • Work directly with clients, team members and senior leadership to develop analytics strategy.
  • Create effective KPIs and optimize metrics to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Support cross-functional projects and convert data into business narratives.
  • Lead analytics on varied projects including report automation and data visualization.
  • Ensure integrity of analytics data by enforcing data governance and training teams.
  • Drive customer acquisition strategy through models, forecasts and benchmark analysis.
  • Interpret analytical findings and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques on large datasets for ad hoc insights.
  • Conduct consistent data collection using primary and secondary research methods.
  • Create post campaign reports and collaborate with design teams for engaging visuals.

Required Skills and Experience

Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in social sciences, business, computer science, mathematics or a related quantitative discipline and 3-5 years analytical experience. Key skills include:

  • Strong presentation, adaptability, resourcefulness, and proactive approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital, social, and mobile marketing principles.
  • Experience in data-driven digital strategy and business transformation.
  • Project ownership and teamwork skills along with leadership experience.
  • Experience in marketing attribution modeling and KPI development.
  • Intermediate SQL, Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics capabilities.
  • Familiarity with R and/or Python.
  • Experience with Tableau is a bonus along with statistical analysis skills.

Employment Details

This is a 1-year contract position, with potential to transition into a permanent role. The role is part of our Marketing Sciences department and reports to the Manager, Analytics. The current work model is hybrid: work from home three days a week, with mandatory in-office attendance on Mondays and Wednesdays from our Toronto office.
