DevOps Engineer (Remote)

General Purpose

TPx is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer (Remote) to join our growing technology team. The role involves building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and supporting cloud or on-premise infrastructure environments. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline the software delivery process, improve system reliability, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various applications and environments.
• Automate system configurations, application deployments, and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with development teams for smooth integration of code releases.
• Work with business stakeholders for managing device configurations and automation.
• Utilize Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure and application performance.
• Support containerized applications and work with Kubernetes.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of production systems.
• Participate in incident response and document DevOps processes.
• Perform additional duties to support team and organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
• Strong understanding of software development, deployment lifecycles, and automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with Ansible for configuration management and deployment.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker).
• Skilled in scripting languages including Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with JavaScript, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Knowledge of Git version control and branching strategies.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Other Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
• Experience in automation platform development and customization.
• Familiarity with security best practices in CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
