General Purpose
TPx is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer (Remote) to join our growing technology team. The role involves building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and supporting cloud or on-premise infrastructure environments. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline the software delivery process, improve system reliability, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various applications and environments.
- Automate system configurations, application deployments, and operational tasks.
- Collaborate with development teams for smooth integration of code releases.
- Work with business stakeholders for managing device configurations and automation.
- Utilize Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure and application performance.
- Support containerized applications and work with Kubernetes.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of production systems.
- Participate in incident response and document DevOps processes.
- Perform additional duties to support team and organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
- Strong understanding of software development, deployment lifecycles, and automation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency with Ansible for configuration management and deployment.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker).
- Skilled in scripting languages including Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with JavaScript, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Knowledge of Git version control and branching strategies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Other Qualifications
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
- Experience in automation platform development and customization.
- Familiarity with security best practices in CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
