The Opportunity
TP is a leader in digital business services. The TP.ai Data Services team focuses on Data Engineering, Data Management, and AI-ready data operations. The Solution Architect - Data Engineering & Management will design modern data architectures, streamline data operations, and ensure regulatory compliance while enhancing client value through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Design end-to-end data solutions including data lakes, lakehouses, and streaming pipelines.
- Build and optimize DataOps frameworks to improve automation and data quality.
- Implement data governance frameworks ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to reduce data latency and optimize costs.
- Support pre-sales activities including RFPs, PoCs, and solution demonstrations.
- Lead client workshops and provide internal training on best practices.
First-Year Objectives
- Establish foundational data architecture and standards.
- Drive client solutioning and business growth through workshop leadership.
- Develop AI-ready modernization solutions with Sales and Delivery teams.
- Build internal thought leadership in modern data engineering.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of enterprise data platform leadership experience. Expertise in cloud-native data solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure), modern data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration frameworks, and data governance. Experience in pre-sales, stakeholder management, and strategic communication is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
- Familiarity with data mesh architectures and managed data service pricing models.
- Experience with AI/ML data enablement and industry-specific expertise.
