Role Overview
As a Director-level Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Domain Expert, you will join the TP.ai Data Services leadership team to drive domain-specific AI and data services strategies. You will act as a strategic advisor to global clients, including Fortune 100 companies, helping to design, scale, and deliver high-value AI data solutions while ensuring compliance, innovation, and responsible AI practices.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Advise clients and translate domain business needs to AI data solutions.
- Collaborate with sales teams on proposals, RFPs, and workshops.
- Represent TP.ai at conferences and industry forums.
- Define and implement AI/ML, LLM, SLM, RLHF and multimodal workflows.
- Guide the full data lifecycle including collection, curation, annotation, enrichment, evaluation, and compliance.
- Ensure use of Responsible AI practices including bias mitigation and data privacy.
- Oversee QA frameworks, data governance, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Monitor domain-specific KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify emerging opportunities and design domain-specific accelerators.
- Collaborate with product architects to create innovative offerings.
- Mentor teams to expand internal SME capability.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience with 5+ in senior leadership roles.
- Expertise in AI/ML data workflows: collection, curation, annotation, enrichment, evaluation, and governance.
- Strong knowledge of AI model development, including LLM/SLM fine-tuning and RLHF.
- Familiarity with industry-specific compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS).
- Proven executive-level client engagement and leadership in large global teams.
- Advanced degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or related field (MBA preferred).
- Domain expertise in one or more verticals such as Automotive, BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, Media.
