Cloud Security Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in Plano, TX. This role supports the security of our cloud infrastructure and provides growth opportunities into a subject matter expert in cloud security tools.

What You’ll be Doing

• Monitor cloud environments (primarily AWS) using CSPM, SIEM and other platforms.
• Review and triage security findings and escalate as necessary.
• Create and refine security policies and rulesets under guidance.
• Improve cloud security hygiene by identifying misconfigurations and enforcing controls.
• Document findings, track remediation, and enhance process improvements.
• Maintain internal knowledge bases and contribute to team playbooks.
• Stay updated with cloud security trends and best practices.

What You Bring

• Up to 2 years of cloud security experience and 1+ year in cybersecurity.
• Exposure to major cloud platforms; AWS preferred.
• Understanding of IAM, encryption, and network security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with CSPM (e.g., Orca), SIEM (e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon), and AWS GuardDuty.
• Basic scripting knowledge and awareness of security frameworks beneficial.
