Overview
Toyota North America is seeking a Product Support Engineer to provide technical support for NASCAR teams using TRD’s vehicle simulation software. This role involves real-time troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to racing teams during events
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time
- Interface with race engineers and team personnel
- Document bugs and feature requests for the development team
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize improvements
- Train new users on software functionality and best practices
- Test new features and updates before release
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides
- Develop and implement support processes
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations
Required & Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with strong analytical and communication skills. Experience in technical support, automotive dynamics, motorsports, simulation software, APIs, cloud-based applications, ticket management, scripting (JavaScript, Python), and data analysis tools are highly desirable.
Additional Information
This is a full-time role based in Salisbury, NC with regular in-office presence. Occasional travel to racetracks and weekend work during race events is expected.
