Job Opportunity: Automation Technician
As part of a replacement, we are looking for an Automation Service Technician to join our Technical Department. You will be responsible for preparing, delivering, and installing VNA equipment (narrow aisle forklifts, Radio Shuttle, etc.) and for providing technical support for automated logistics solutions (AGV, LSI, etc.) at our clients' sites, while respecting deadlines and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
Workshop Preparation
- Prepare forklifts according to customer orders.
- Manage spare parts inventory.
- Check the functionality and compliance of the forklift before shipment.
- Prepare and check all accessories and documents necessary for commissioning at the client's site.
Delivery / Installation
- Assemble the forklift at the client's site.
- Support the after-sales service technician in commissioning the forklift and advise them on maintenance.
- Present the technical specificities to the client and assist the operator in product familiarization.
- Establish the follow-up documents for the forklift for long-term and short-term rentals.
Site Implementation
- Carry out guidance rail installation projects within deadlines.
- Supervise the installation of various technical elements and accessories.
- Supervise the installation of wire guidance systems.
- Establish site acceptance documents.
Safety Prevention Plan
- Draft the safety prevention plan with the client.
- Distribute the safety prevention plan to subcontractors.
- Ensure subcontractors adhere to the safety prevention plan.
Logistics Solutions Support
- Provide support for logistics solutions to the end client, as well as RI and RC networks.
- Present technical specificities to the client and assist the user in product familiarization.
