Original Job Summary
Overview
Toyon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and analyze mission-critical planning and decision-support applications for government customers. U.S. Citizenship and the ability to qualify for a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance are required.
Responsibilities
- Develop object-oriented software in C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
- Design, develop, and analyze using geographic information systems (GIS), such as ArcGIS.
- Collaborate with senior team members in a configuration-managed environment.
- Implement robust software systems with intuitive user interfaces.
- Configure and maintain virtual machines and host servers along with cluster computing application development.
Requirements
Candidates should have at least 7 years of relevant professional experience and hold a bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Excellent problem-solving skills, strong math skills, and experience with numerical methods and testing are essential.
