About the role
Volunteer Spanish Tutor for Incarcerated Individuals
Auxilia is seeking passionate individuals to share their knowledge and skills with incarcerated persons through distance learning. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the social reintegration of individuals by providing them with new competencies. Nearly two-thirds of incarcerated individuals have not completed middle school, and the illiteracy rate in prisons is three times higher than in the general population. Your teaching and training can make a significant difference.
Responsibilities and Requirements
We are looking for volunteer Spanish tutors with a university degree (BAC+2 or equivalent professional experience) who wish to impart their knowledge to individuals facing difficulties. Prior professional teaching experience is not required.
