About the Event Chef Role at Touch of Paradise Catering

Touch of Paradise Catering is seeking an experienced Event Chef with a passion for high-quality culinary execution at on-site events. This role requires driving to event locations in Los Angeles, Orange County, and Riverside County while delivering exceptional food and service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute high-quality meals for private and public events
  • Drive with equipment and ingredients to/from event venues
  • Set up cooking stations and serve guests
  • Collaborate with event staff and clients for satisfaction
  • Perform clean-up and pack down post-event

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of culinary experience in catering, private chef, or restaurants
  • Experience with mobile/event setups
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and work extended hours on your feet
  • Punctuality, professionalism, and adaptability

Bonus Points

  • Food Handler’s Certificate or ServSafe certification
  • Experience with BBQ, open flame cooking, or mobile kitchens
  • Own a reliable vehicle for event equipment transport
