Digital Project Manager Trainee (H/F)
TotalEnergies is seeking a motivated and recent graduate to join the Market Analysis division as a Digital Project Manager Trainee. This role is crucial for enhancing data management processes, particularly by leveraging newly developed AI solutions.
Context and Environment
The Market Analysis division handles a significant volume of data from both internal and external sources. While data management processes have improved over the years, there's a need for a dedicated specialist to refine and automate these processes, with a strong focus on implementing AI solutions.
Responsibilities
As a Digital Project Manager Trainee, within the Group's Strategy & Markets Directorate (STS/S&M), you will work closely with the Chief Economist and collaborate across the entire Directorate. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying high-impact use cases for AI in areas such as knowledge management, reporting, data analysis, and document drafting.
- Leading the selection, testing, and deployment of AI tools.
- Training team members and fostering adoption through operational support.
- Collaborating with IT and digital teams to implement scalable solutions.

Candidate Profile
You have recently graduated with a Master's degree (Bac+5) in optimization. You are looking to start your career with a stimulating experience within international teams dedicated to the energy transition.
We are looking for a Digital Project Manager Trainee (H/F) for a 12-month contract, starting in June 2026.
- During your studies, you developed knowledge in optimization and database processing.
- You understand the basics of AI and are proficient with generative AI tools (Copilot, LLMs) and their API interfaces.
- Solid foundations in data manipulation (Power Query, Python/Pandas) will be appreciated.
- You have a practical understanding of REST APIs and automated calls, and are familiar with automation workflows (Power Automate, scripts).
- You are comfortable with office tools and the Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Good proficiency in Python will be a plus.
- Autonomy, rigor, and team spirit are among your qualities.
- Good writing skills and professional English proficiency are essential.
We offer a qualifying full-time Professionalization Contract for 12 months (100% company-based) including training in professional skills, languages, and tools, delivered internally by selected organizations. This contract will provide you with a year of professional experience and training tailored to your role within the company, significantly boosting your employability.

- To apply, you must possess a valid residence permit for the duration of the offer (minimum 13 months) at the date of hiring.
- Please note that this professionalization contract does not lead to the issuance of a residence permit (Article R.52221-6 of the Labor Code).
- This position is for recent graduates seeking their first professional experience and is not suitable for individuals seeking a work-study program with a school or diploma-granting training.
