About the Team

The Analyst at Toss Securities is part of the Research Center team. The Research Center team creates research materials and content for individual investors.

Responsibilities

Continuously monitor stock and financial markets, analyzing investment trends and changes quickly and in depth. Create materials that explain professional investment knowledge and information in an easily understandable way for individual investors, the main client base. Analyze a wide range of investment topics including Macro, stocks, bonds, commodities, industries, and companies in Korea and the US, not limited to a specific area. Collaborate with content experts to plan and produce investment information content that is easy for those with little investment experience to understand, not just research materials. Repeatedly establish and verify data-driven hypotheses, find areas for improvement, and apply them to enhance the efficiency of delivering materials and content. Participate in the planning and development of new investment content based on investment expertise, collaborating closely with related departments as a stock expert.

Qualifications

• Must meet at least one of the following two conditions to be considered a professional research and analysis personnel by the Korea Financial Investment Association:
• 1) Over 12 years of research experience at a securities firm.
• 2) Possess a Master's degree in Finance/Economics or have obtained the Financial Investment Analyst qualification through examination, and have over 10 years of research experience at a securities firm.
• English proficiency to lead global business meetings and in-depth analysis of English investment materials.
• Experience in a wide range of research including global markets, US stocks, economics, investment strategy, industries, companies, ETFs, etc. is preferred.
• High understanding and interest in fintech-based mobile/web services and products.
• Enjoy new challenges, are not bound by conventional methods, and actively identify and pursue tasks independently.
• Can lead collaboration with colleagues and work passionately with a positive and open mind.

This position is within the Research Center, and there are restrictions on trading financial products:

• Cannot trade company/other company 'equity securities, etc. (domestic listed stocks, bonds related to stocks, ELS, etc.)
• Cannot trade company/other company overseas listed stocks.
• Can trade company/other company domestic/overseas ETFs.
• Can trade other company funds and bonds.
• Cannot trade company/other company futures and options.
• Products that can be traded at the company must be done through the company only (domestic/US ETFs, bonds).
