Specialist UX Designer and Researcher

About the Role

Torresburriel Estudio is seeking a Specialist UX Designer and Researcher to work on diverse projects with a high-profile client. The role focuses on conceptualizing, researching, and designing various digital products within different web ecosystems.

Work Schedule & Location

Location: Spain; Work From Home (WFH) following CET time zone. Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 14:00 and 14:45 to 17:15, and Fridays from 8:00 to 14:00. In August, the schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 15:00.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute UX research strategy with a focus on qualitative investigation and accessibility.
• Conduct user studies including usability tests, interviews, ethnographic studies and surveys.
• Analyze research data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate in design phases from stakeholder requirements to high fidelity prototypes.
• Use client Design Systems and ensure consistency across digital ecosystems.
• Work with business, research, and development teams for technical viability and proper implementation.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to capture business needs and product conceptualization.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Figma for interface design, prototypes, and design libraries.
• Experience with digital Design Systems.
• Practical experience in UX research methodologies.
• Expertise in information architecture including content structuring and taxonomy.
• Data analysis skills for research insights.
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently in a team.
• Conversational fluency in English for international projects.

Soft Skills

• Effective communication and presentation of design solutions and research insights.
• Proactivity and initiative in proposing suitable solutions.
• Experience working in agile environments with tight deadlines.
• Empathy for user needs balanced with business goals and technical constraints.
• Ability to manage uncertainty and work in early project phases.
