The Role: R&D Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced and passionate R&D Team Lead to join our rapidly expanding company. In this role, you will lead a core engineering team responsible for building production-grade features and infrastructure that power our product.

Our engineering efforts are central to our product strategy and continued growth. This team plays a pivotal role in delivering scalable, high-quality systems and enabling automation across the platform. This is a unique opportunity to help shape one of the company’s most strategic initiatives, combining leadership, architecture, and hands-on development in a dynamic environment. What You Will Do

• Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of AI-driven products in production.
• Manage and mentor a small, growing team of talented engineers, setting technical direction and driving excellence.
• Be accountable for the performance, scalability, and adoption of AI-driven features across the product.
• Work hands-on in Go and Python, delivering high-quality, testable, and efficient code.
• Design and implement AI-based logic, automations, and data-driven capabilities deeply integrated into the product.
• Collaborate with other R&D teams to bring intelligent capabilities into the company’s core platform.
• Define and promote best practices for scalability, reliability, and observability.

What You Should Bring to The Table

• 5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams and delivering large-scale, production systems end-to-end.
• Proven experience leading the development and delivery of AI-powered products or features in production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience in Go and Python.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and scalable architectures (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, and modern monitoring/logging tools.
• A passion for building and delivering AI-powered capabilities to production.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.
• A proactive “Can-Do” attitude and a drive to build something new.
