Role Overview: Product Design Lead

In the role of Product Design Lead, you will connect product vision, user needs, and business goals by driving and initiating cross-company projects. You will own the full product lifecycle from research and ideation to validation and high-quality delivery, ensuring Torq's product experience remains consistent, impactful, and beloved by its users.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead high-impact, cross-company design projects aligned with strategic goals.
• Identify and propose opportunities to improve product experience and processes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders in Product, Engineering, and AI to define vision and priorities.
• Drive end-to-end product design from problem definition to iterative delivery.
• Enhance design consistency and excellence through robust design systems and standards.
• Measure design success and iterate based on data and user feedback.
• Foster a culture of initiative, experimentation, and continuous learning.

Your Experience & Skills

• 7+ years designing digital SaaS products, ideally in cybersecurity or data-rich domains.
• Proven track record initiating and leading product design initiatives with significant business impact.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, design execution, and cross-team influence.
• Expertise in user research methodologies and applying insights to product strategy.
• Ability to operate at multiple levels from vision setting to detail refinement.
• Experience in identifying process gaps and implementing scalable improvements.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to align diverse stakeholders.
• Positive attitude, low ego, and proactive leadership approach.
