About the Role

The Admissions Advisor at Toronto School of Management is responsible for providing personalized, one-on-one consultations to prospective students exploring MD and Pre-Med programs. Reporting to the Director, Student Recruitment, this full-time 3-month contract role is pivotal in guiding applicants through the admission process.

Responsibilities

  • Engage daily with prospective students via phone and email.
  • Conduct one-to-one consultations to assess student needs and readiness.
  • Manage the application process from inquiry through to enrollment.
  • Provide professional advice on admission requirements and academic programs.
  • Maintain and convert leads with focus on business growth.
  • Monitor the application database for consistency and efficiency.
  • Develop targeted recruitment strategies to raise program awareness.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in consultative sales.
  • Understanding of the North American education and healthcare system.
  • Experience in recruiting domestic students is desired.
  • Knowledge of Canadian and US med & vet school application processes is a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

Experience in a target-driven, KPI environment, consultative selling, excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities are essential to succeed in this role.
