About The School Of Medicine

The School of Medicine at Toronto Metropolitan University is transforming medical education. Under the guidance of Dr. Teresa M. Chan, it aims to produce culturally aware, innovative physicians ready to address modern healthcare challenges.

The Opportunity

We are hiring three Program Administrators to join the Postgraduate Medical Education team. In this role, you will provide administrative, operational, and program support to the Program Director(s), faculty, and learners in the residency program. Responsibilities include managing academic administration, organizing rotations, coordinating learner assessments, supporting registration and records management, and assisting with CaRMS process coordination.

  • Provide academic and administrative support.
  • Coordinate rotation scheduling and learner processes.
  • Manage documentation, correspondence, and event planning.
  • Support accreditation, financial management, and records.
  • Act as a liaison among faculty, learners, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a Post-Secondary diploma in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of related administrative support experience. Experience in medical education or healthcare settings is an asset. Key skills include analytical reasoning, strong communication, problem solving, multi-project management, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
