Position Description

We are seeking a motivated Equity Analyst Researcher to help train a new equity research tool for retail investors. In this role, you will apply your expertise to identify and refine key valuation drivers, effectively teaching the system how to think like an analyst. This opportunity allows you to shape the future of equity research and expand its accessibility.

Tasks and Deliverables

  • Select 10–20 companies you know well.
  • Spend 3–5 hours per company distilling core valuation drivers such as revenue growth, margin expansion, cost shifts, regulatory sensitivities, and catalysts.
  • Deliver concise write-ups with supporting data linking drivers to potential equity performance scenarios.
  • Hourly compensation based on the number of companies contributed to.

Required Experience

  • Currently or recently employed at a top-tier equity research firm.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience covering companies in the Russell 2000 and/or S&P 500.
  • Ability to translate complex valuation drivers into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong written communication and independent work capabilities.
  • Early career stage or pursuing an MBA is preferable.
